I am seeking an internship where I can learn from professionals whose experience includes children, families and especially those who have served the Special Needs community. I wish to expand my knowledge base and complete the necessary hours with the BBS to obtain licensure.
I completed my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have an Intern license number.
Some of the skills I would bring to your practice / site include;
-Competent skills working with families and children for over 30 years as an Educator.
-Completed a 900-hour volunteer pre-graduation Internship with Outreach Concern (2014-2015).
-Multi-cultural experiences have incorporated serving numerous cultures and races.
-Unique broad based experience; easily relate to a broad base of ages and populations.
-Passion use of Music and Art Work coupled with traditional interventions, especially in working with young people and the Special Needs population.
-Excellent work ethic; dedicated to accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
-Experienced in working with children including Special Needs; Autistic, Aspergers, AD, ADHD.
-Experience includes incorporating Music and Art Work with the Special Needs population as treatment options.
